I so need to post my recent stuff on here, I know. I still need to bring across all my pictures from my other laptop (which is now close to useless thanks to itunes refusing to work) and install Photoshop onto it so, as a result, I seem to have slipped into a hiatus because I keep on putting off the idea.
And, yes, I am ashamed of myself for letting it go on for this long.
Well, that, and a million other excuses like Henry our Cocker Spaniel puppy and the job hunting I am expected to do and make a note of etc etc etc. The slight obsession with the Dresden Files series also plays a part (because those books are too damned good! I started Changes this morning and I'm already near the end of it).
But I shall not bore you with that and instead promise new uploads and make sure that the promise isn't an empty one

Wow, its a been a long time since I've written a journal on dA lol, but then I have been silent for some time.
In my silence (or lack of productivity), I haven't totally stopped photography, its just been a while. In between reading the entire works of Shannara, I should have something up soon once the film has been developed, so give a week or so and something new should be up soon :D
Until then, its more job hunting (yay for redundancy! >.>). I absolutely love working, hate the job hunting. You knowledge on where to go is always rusty. Still, that has to be a bonus I suppose.
Anyway lol.

Two sets of photos, too. One set in black and white (film, New York) and the second is digital and soon to be edited once I get them on a memory stick (they are on another computer). The second set is of Norfolk. Norfolk is really nice :D

So, we are in New York :D
I will be honest, it's all still exciting and despite being here for two days, part of me still doesn't quite believe it. I asked dad yesterday at what point do Native New Yorkers and residents stop looking up when they have so many skyscrapers, too, lol. Only because I was interested, of course, and I realised the night before that my phone wallpaper at the lock screen is an illustration of Times Square (only slightly more ruined lol). And the city residents are very funny and very friendly too :D

New York
So, going to New York at the end of this April as my birthday treat from my parents :D. Woot! I am very excited and pleased it has been sorted out :D :D :D. My cousin went last year or so and the pictures he took were amazing.
Problem is, some of the shine is missing due to the circumstances around which the booking was made and they make me feel very guilty and very embarrassed that the situation came about at all. To cut a long story short, at the time of my birthday it was just an idea, with the promise of having some sort of say in when we went.
